The Psychology Practice: Dr Julie A. Sposari & Associates
Fees: |
Fees for consultations are guided by recommendations
from the Australian Psychological Society (APS)
and vary from time to time. Currently, fees are
$150 per treatment session; and $220 for the initial
assessment session. Fees for group sessions, psychometric assessments
and reports vary depending upon on the client's
needs.
PLEASE NOTE: Psychologists are able to offer you
private health fund rebates if you have extras
cover. Depending upon your health fund, you may
be eligible for rebates for both individual and
group therapy. These rebates significantly reduce
the cost of your treatment. If you are unsure
what your entitlements are, you are advised to
check with your health fund before commencing
treatment. |

Julie has completed her PhD in the area of social phobia
in adulthood at Macquarie University. Sydney. She specialises
in the assessment and treatment of social anxiety and
other anxiety disorders such as generalised anxiety,
panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder, worry and phobias
in children, adolescents and adults. Julie currently
works with clients in private practice, and in conjunction
with the Macquarie University Anxiety Research Unit
at The Anxiety Clinic. She is recognised provider with
private health care bodies such as MBF, Medibank Private,
NRMA, etc. Using a collaborative approach with clients,
Julie utilises evidence-based treatments that are up
to date with current research findings in psychology
involving both individual and group treatments for anxiety
disorders. |
