Catherine has been a psychologist for over 20 years. She chose to work primarily in anxiety disorders as in early in her career she met people whose lives had been crippled by severe worrying and fear because they had not been correctly diagnosed and/or treated, Catherine has a caring, down to earth manner and a sense of humour.
She wants her clients to see an improvement in their condition as soon as possible, so they are encouraged to be active participants in their own recovery. Catherine encourages her clients where appropriate to : read books, attend support groups, attend to diet and lifestyle issues, exercise etc.
